HookWise is built so that we never see your data at all. This policy is short because there is almost nothing to disclose.
Nothing. HookWise has no accounts, no sign-up, no analytics, no advertising, no tracking, and no third-party SDKs. We do not operate any server that receives your data.
The spots you save are stored on your device. If iCloud is available, they are also stored in your personal, private iCloud database, encrypted in transit and at rest by Apple. We have no access to them.
If you grant location access, your position is used on your device to compute solunar times. With Pro conditions, your coordinates are also sent to our weather provider, WeatherAPI.com, to fetch live conditions for where you are. Your location is never stored beyond your saved spot and never sent to us.
Live conditions (barometric pressure, wind, cloud cover) come from WeatherAPI.com. Your coordinates are sent to WeatherAPI.com to answer that request, under WeatherAPI.com's privacy terms. No other party is involved.
All sun, moon, and solunar calculations happen entirely on your device. No request leaves your phone to show your fishing times.
All purchases and subscriptions are processed entirely by Apple, through your App Store account. We receive no payment details, and you can cancel anytime in iOS Settings.
Erase everything by deleting the app (and removing HookWise data from iCloud in iOS Settings).
HookWise is not directed at children under 13.
If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with a new effective date.
